WFGOEI celebrated Diwali with our beloved students & parents virtually via ZOOM .
Students & Parents were excited to share their Rangoli over the web with all the students , staff and Chief Guest, Mr. Ravi Prakash Singh, Managing Director. This was first of a kind experience for all the students were the rangoli made by them were exhibited with everyone across the online platform hosted by WFGOEI.
Ayat Fatima, student of Class-II has shared the Art Integrated activities assigned to the students during the online sessions.
The various activities shared are depicting the process of food chain, calculation and analytical skills and how to take precautionary measures to stop spreading of the virus in this pandemic era.
WFGOEI celebrated the Hindi Divas Day on 14th September, 2020, on the Zoom and You Tube to pay due respect to the Official Language and express their appreciation for the mother language in India. India rich in its Hindi Language and Literature was excellently depicted by the students through Poems, inspirational songs, narratives, monologues, dances and speeches. Dohas by SantKabir were beautifully intoned and the profound message adroitly simplified for all to comprehend and apply in life.
The Chief Guest, Sri DayaShankar Singh, Chairman, WFGOEI , in his address was very appreciative of the students’ talents well-grounded in the ethnicity of Indian culture and values.
Parents spoke very favourably of the academic efforts made by the school to reach out to the students in keeping them abreast with studies. They lauded the frequent co-curricular and cultural programmes frequently organised to widen their perspective, thus keeping the students alert and active as a very constructive and positive approach. By celebrating Hindi Divas the students resurrected a patriotic reminder to all the students and viewers of their common roots and unity through Hindi Language.

WFGOEI celebrated Teacher’s Day on 5th September, 2020, which also marks the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, an Indian philosopher, academic, and statesman who served as the second President of India (1962–1967). It was a delight to see the Pre-Primary and Primary Section students take the lead with total confidence on the virtual platform. There was an excellent Welcome Speech to the Chief Guest, Sri Dayashankar Singh, Chairman of WFGOEI. This was followed by the Welcome Dance by Class 4th, Primary section gave an outstanding acting performance. The Entertainment Programme that ensued was an immeasurable show of zest and zeal expressed through renditions of dances and songs, not forgetting the hilarious mimic that tickled the viewers into splits of laughter.
The Chief Guest, in his Address, appreciated the efforts of the students to pay a tribute to the teachers as recognition of their impeccable contribution, the beacons in the enormous realm of knowledge as catalysts in shaping the students for the future. He said the students’ performances were commendable and could pave their way as future celebrities in their potential talents. He also appreciated the lightening adaptation of the Teachers to Online teaching to reach out to the students despite the Lockdown. Very specifically he spoke of the Teachers’ never daunted interest to learn and desire for more knowledge. He commended the Parents efforts in supporting the teachers as they together coached their wards in performing their best for the programme.
The Academic Director, Mr.Rakesh Kumar, in his opening speech aptly said that there is ‘nothing more rewarding’ than seeing one’s students bloom into confident individuals, a reflection of his cherished memories from the previous batches. It was the first time in school history that parents were also a part of the Teacher’s Day Celebrations due to the virtual platform. Many parents welcomed this opportunity to wish the teachers and the management on this occassion. They expressed their gratitude and extolled the educational instruction that WFGOEI was reaching out to their students from the online platform.
